Grace's Insect Cell Culture Media is a modification of Wyatt's medium and was originally formulated to support the growth of cells derived from the Australian emperor gum moth, Anthere eucalypti. When supplemented with the proper components, this medium has been shown to support a variety of insect cells, including several lepidopteran as well as some dipterans. Although it has been shown to support the growth of some dipterans, it is primarily used in the cultivation of cell lines derived from lepidopterans.
