The Electromagnet Kit is used for teaching students the principals of an electromagnet. Everything that is needed is included in the kit, apart from the power supply. Included is a “U”-Shaped Iron Core with two coils of wire, a straight iron bar, two magnetic compasses, wire connector cords, pins, storage case, and an instruction guide. Students can build both a bar-shaped and a U-shaped electromagnet. A 6-volt battery can be used as a power supply.
