Synonym: Nebramycin II
Aminoglycoside antibiotic with bactericidal activity against most Gram-negative bacteria. Apramycin is used to study protein synthesis translocation-step inhibition in bacteria and prokaryotes. Harmful by inhalation, in contact with skin and if swallowed.
