Cryovials
Cryovial tubes & cryogenic storage vials can preserve samples using liquid nitrogen and are designed to store samples safely. They may also be used at general cold-storage temperatures for freezing vials.
Most Cryo tubes carry common characteristics such as being non-cytotoxic and pyrogen-free. Cryovials are designed with robust construction, secure closures, and alarm systems to protect from leaks, cross-contamination, and unauthorized access.
Some cryogenic tubes also carry features, including barcode systems and software integration to assist with sample organization and tracking throughout the lab.
