MTC Bio’s SureSeal S™ microcentrifuge tubes are designed for a broad range of research applications, including enzyme digests, DNA isolation/purification, centrifugation, incubation and general sample/reagent storage. With a variety of design advances, SureSeal Tubes improve sample visualization, safety, stability and overall ease of use.

SureSeal S tubes are manufactured under clean room conditions, using only BioClear™ co-polymer, an advanced polypropylene that maximizes clarity. BioClear has been formulated to be crystal clear, without compromising centrifugal strength (tested up to 28,000xg) or the usable temperature range (-90°C to +121°C).

The oversized tube cap (with frosted marking surface), combined with the unique ring & groove closure, enhances the security of the liquid-tight seal, while minimizing the required locking forces for a more ergonomic opening/closing of the tube caps.

All SureSeal S tubes are RNase, DNase and pyrogen free.

This product is absolute garbage. You would literally have to pay me money in order to use these tubes, and even then, I would only use it on super unimportant experiments. Not only will these tube ruin your experiments, they are also incredibly aggravating to use. The reason is that they do not fulfill their one function as capped-tubes -- THEY DO NOT STAY CLOSED. After placing them in a centrifuge, they pop open. After placing them in a heat block, the tube deforms and pops open. After gently brushing up against the tubes, they pop open. After looking at them the wrong way, they pop open. What's worse is that they are inconsistently of terrible quality, so it's impossible to predict which one will misbehave. I think the people who named it "SureSeal" was doing it ironically. They claim to make a snap when closed tightly (in a sad attempt to mimic the far superior eppendorf brand); however, half of them don't "snap" at the first attempt of closing them, requiring that you adjust your thumb to close it again, and even when you hear a loud audible snap, THEY STILL POP OPEN SPONTANEOUSLY! Every time I use these tubes, I have to struggle to not slam my face into the bench repeatedly. I would not wish these tubes upon my greatest enemy/competitor. In summation, these tubes are absolute garbage. (I'd rate it negative 5 stars if I could)
