Microplates are manufactured from virgin polypropylene resin, and feature uniform external dimensions and tolerances to meet ANSI recommendations for compatibility with equipment and robotics. Microplates are biologically inert, exhibit low binding characteristics, offer a high temperature tolerance (–196 to 121°C/–321 to 250°F), and are resistant to many standard laboratory chemicals. These properties provide optimal conditions for laboratory specimen and compound storage. Ideal for cultivating bacteria or yeasts.
Microplates feature alphanumerically coded wells. Conical well tops aid in complete sample recovery. Plates are autoclavable and supplied without lids.
Microplates are RNase- and DNase-free, and nonpyrogenic. All plates have a footprint conforming to the ANSI/SBS 1-2004 Standard.
