This hydrophobic and gas permeable layer has average pore size from 10µm to 40µm, is backed with a medical-grade (non-cytotoxic) acrylic adhesive, and is suitable for tissue, cell, and bacterial cultures. Non-woven rayon/acrylic allows uniform rates of gaseous exchange (O2 and CO2) across the membrane for all wells; promoting contaminant free growth of cells. Film is removable, not reusable. Strong adhesive minimizes cross-contamination, spillage and evaporation; covered plates can be inverted and agitated without sample leakage. Do not store plates inverted.
