Ready-to-use YPD Agar Plates are for growth and maintenance of yeast, such as Saccharomyces cerevisiae.
Typically, 100 mm round plates are for growth/selection, and 150 mm round plates are for screening. Standard fill volume for 100 mm plates is 25 mL. We also offer a thicker agar plate in the 100 mm size (40 mL fill).
Contains 2.0% (20 g/L) peptone, 1.0% (10 g/L) yeast extract, 2.0% glucose, and 2.0% agar.
