The Thomas Traceable® Waterproof Type K Thermometer reads from –328 to 2372°F and -200 to 1300°C with a resolution of 0.1° and 1°. It allows switching from °F to °C at the touch of a button. Jumbo-size, 5/8-inch-high digits are readable from 10 feet away and back-lighting button permits reading in dark areas. The thermometer features a hold button that freezes display to capture current reading with a battery that lasts for 1 year of routine use.

To assure accuracy, an individually serial-numbered Traceable® Certificate is provided from an ISO 17025 calibration laboratory accredited by A2LA. It indicates traceability for temperature only to standards provided by NIST (National Institute of Standards and Technology).
