The Hot Plate or Heating Mantle with Magnetic Stirrer is ideal for simultaneous stirring and heating of liquids. The hot plate includes an integrated magnetic stirrer. Two dials allow you to control the speed and the temperature. The support arm holds a thermometer or probe. The speed range is 100 – 1600 rpm. The maximum temperature is 350 degrees Celsius. The plate size is 12 centimeters square, and it will hold up to a 2000 milliliter flask. A pill magnet and detachable cord are included in the kit.
