Biochem Physiol Actions: Clemizole is an antihistamine and an inhibitor of NS4B (nonstructural protein 4B) RNA of HCV (hepatitis C virus). Studies in Scn1a (sodium channel, voltage-gated, type I, a) Zebrafish mutant show that this drug has the potential as a therapeutic agent in Dravet Syndrome treatment.
