Contrex AW is a low-foaming, concentrated, powdered autowasher detergent for use in all automatic labware washing machines. It is extremely effective at removing virtually any contaminant from the surface of labware, scientific apparatus and process equipment. Contrex AW is free-rinsing eliminating detergent build-up in the automatic machines.
Always follow machine manufacturer’s directions. Typical applications require approximately 1.25 ounces per gallon of water (1 % solution) used during the wash cycle. For more difficult applications increase the concentration and/or temperature. Heavily soiled labware may need a prewash using Contrex A L. Ensure adequate rinse cycle for spot-free finish. All cleaners work best in deionized or distilled water.
