The IBI Midi I-Blue plasmid isolation kits (Endotoxin Free) have been developed specifically to optimize the isolation of plasmid DNA from E. coli. The kit includes the I-Blue lysis buffer which helps prevent common handling errors, and ensure efficient cell lysis and SDS precipitation. The I-Blue Plasmid kits also utilize pre-packed anion exchange resin columns to purify plasmid DNA from 50-150ml of cultured bacterial cells. After running the I-Blue kits, the purified plasmid DNA is now suitable for Transfection, Sequencing Reactions, Ligation, PCR, In-Vitro Transcription, Micro-Injection, Restriction Enzyme Digestion, and Gene Gun.
