Complete Peroxidase Substrate System. Substrate for in situ detection of Horseradish Peroxidase labeled antibodies or probes. DAB produces a dark brown, insoluble end product when reacted with peroxidase enzyme. This end-product is easily visible against normal hematoxylin/eosin staining.
The DAB Substrate system is easy to use. Just add one quick-dissolving DAB substrate tablet to 10mL of deionized water and add one drop of peroxidase solution. The resulting solution contains 5mg DAB in an optimized buffer and is stable for 2-3 hours at room temperature.
