Transient Transfection Medium for production of Viral Vectors with suspension HEK293 cells

PRODUCT INFORMATION

IVY medium is free of serum, animal components and hydrolysates. The medium is developed for maximal viral vector replication and transient expression in suspension cells. HEK293 suspension cells have been carried for more than 6 months in IVY medium with no loss of viability.
IVY medium is easy-to-use and suitable for suspension cultures. It requires only minimal or no adaptation from other serum-free media..

APPLICATION

IVY medium is dedicated to maximal production of wide range of viral vectors, e.g. adeno viral vectors, AAV vectors, lenti viral vectors.
IVY is particularly suitable for transfection with polyethylene imine (PEI) and other DNA complexing agents.
IVY is not suitable for viral infections and protein production with stable gene expression. For this application we have developed the special medium ORCHID.
