Variable speed motor drives are designed to make the homogenizing process faster, safer and more thorough. These variable-speed drives feature totally enclosed motors. For high-speed operations, the direct drive shaft is recommended. The geared shaft generates higher torque and lower speeds. The drive's electronic motor controller provides versatile and reliable performance. Controller also provides smooth rotation and repeatability, reduced motor temperature and noise due to filtered circuitry. A switch reverses pestle direction during homogenization or allows either motor shaft to rotate in the proper direction for use with the quick-change chuck. Unit is supplied with a 3-jaw keyless chuck and 90-degree clamp.
