This peristaltic pump tubing is recommended for use with the Agilent fully automated modular VGA 77 vapor generation accessory, which. is used with Agilent flame AA systems to enable rapid trace level determinations of mercury (using the proven cold vapor technique) and other hydride-forming elements at parts-per-billion (µg/L) concentrations using the vapor or hydride generation technique. Samples are pumped using the wider bore tubing that has the purple/black tabs. The reagents used, including the acid and the reductant solution, are each pumped using the narrower bore tubing that has the black/black tabs.
