MicronSep White Packs
Available pre-sterilized or autoclavable with gridded surface. Autoclavable filters come in envelopes of 10 filters and 10 absorbent cellulosic pads. The envelopes are designed to withstand normal autoclaving environments and feature an indicator that changes color after successful autoclaving at 121°C. Pore size of 0.45 µm. Sterile packs are packaged the same way but have been pre-sterilized by gamma irradiation.
MicronSep 1+PAC (4641K29 to K35)
Packaged individually with no separating papers for convenience, handling, economy and integrity, each 1+PAC includes a 47-mm pre-sterilized MicronSep nitrocellulose filter with gridded surface. They are available with or without an absorbent nutrient pad. This all-in-one pack permits individual testing, eliminating the possibility of contaminating a large supply of pre-sterilized filters. Filters, pads and envelopes are pre-sterilized by gamma irradiation. Pore size is 0.45 µm.
MicronSep Nitrocellulose Membrane Filters (4641K36 to K43)
MicronSep nitrocellulose (MCE) filters are composed of a mixture of inert cellulose nitrate and cellulose acetate polymers. The uniform microporous structure of these filters provides the fastest flow rates and highest throughputs available in a membrane filter. Because they are biologically inert, MicronSep filters are ideal for a variety of clarification, sterilization and analytical applications such as: microbiological analysis, clarification or sterilization of aqueous solutions, industrial hygiene applications and particulate-matter analysis. Filters, with plain or gridded surface, are autoclavable at 121°C.
