Western Blot Blocker (Thomas No. C994D14 and C99D15) |
For those that prefer animal protein as the blocking agent for your immuno-detection analysis. Modified milk protein that is highly soluble and does not inhibit peroxidase detection. The modified milk protein has high blocking efficiency with a clear background.
Features:
- Readily soluble and produces semi-clear solution
- No inhibition to peroxidase
- Produces clear background
- Higher blocking efficiency
- Blocking time 30-60 minutes
- Fat free

Re-Probe Solution, Western Blots (Thomas No. C994D17)
- Re-Probe is supplied as 5X
- The 125ml kit sufficient for 25 blots
- Not recommended for chromogenic substrates
Multiple Species Blot of Brain Tissue (Thomas No. C994D18)
- Tissue specific total protein extracted from rat, human, and mouse
- Blots are prepared by extracting total tissue specific proteins in a denaturing buffer containing a cocktail of protease inhibitors to minimize proteolytic damage to proteins. 50 µg of protein from each sample is loaded along side colored marker proteins on 4-20% denaturing polyacrylamide gels and electrophoresed. After electrophoresis, the gel is electro-blotted onto PVDF membranes. These blots are ready to be probed with polyclonal, monoclonal, or peptide antibodies.
Specifications:
- Components (Multiple Species Tissue Blot): Preblotted Strip of Proteins
- Instruction Manual
- Storage Condition and Stability: Stable for 6 months at 4µC
Multiple Tissue Blot (Human)
- Multiple tissue blots are prepared using total protein extracted from a variety of tissue types, selected from a single species
Tissues included:
- Liver
- Lung
- Brain
- Kidney
- Testis
- Ovary
- Heart
- Spleen
- Pancreas
