Re: FG Clean Wipes - Impact of Tariff increases
Purchasing Team,
First, please allow me to express that we truly appreciate your continued partnership. We are all trying to navigate the latest announcements regarding global tariff increases. Although somewhat unclear now, we know that there will be significant increases on raw materials and finished goods from outside the USA. We are doing our best to quickly decipher the specific impacts while simultaneously searching for alternatives to mitigate increases in cost. Unfortunately, alternatives may not be available and/or changes will take time and as a result, cost increases will need to pass to the market. Be assured, we will continue to bring you best-in-class products, quality and service at the most competitive prices possible.
We will begin to see the impact of the tariff increases this month. Specific associated price increases will need to be effective once we begin to incur higher costs. Product families that will be impacted: liquid IPA, Polyester Knit wipes, Mops and Hardware. We will communicate those increases as soon as possible but they will be abrupt based on the actions taken by our Federal Government. We will send a revised Pricebook as these new costs are realized.
These are uncertain times, but we will work through them together.
