As a result of the recently announced tariffs on imported products we will likely be making changes to our distributor price structure. We plan to implement a price increase on several product lines, effective June 1st.
While we have managed to absorb the tariff increases during the first quarter, the latest round of sweeping tariffs implemented in April will result in a significant increase to our internal costs, some portion of which must be passed down to our customers in the form of a price increase or surcharge. We are working diligently to reduce the impact of these increased tariffs and monitoring the government’s decision on tariff rates. We expect to have this revised pricing finalized for release on/by May 1st.
