Microplates have half the growth area of standard 96 well microplates.
Model 6928C15 (white bottom) enhances luminescent signals and has low background luminescence and fluorescence. It is designed to reduce well-to-well crosstalk during luminescent assays. Nonbinding NBS™ surface is a Corning proprietary treatment technology used on polystyrene microplates to create a non-ionic hydrophilic surface (polyethylene oxide-like) that minimizes molecular interactions making it suitable for reducing protein and nucleic acid binding at low concentrations, and increasing assay signal to noise.
Model 6928C16 (black bottom) has the same features as the model above except it offers low background fluorescence and minimizes light scattering.
Both versions have a total volume of 190 µL and recommended working volume of 25 to 125 µL.
They conform to standard microplate footprint and dimensions and come without lids.
