Thermometer is mineral spirit filled to eliminate workplace and environmental hazards associated with mercury. All ranges have 1º subdivisions. Thermometer has a white back and a 6 to 7mm outer diameter, and is calibrated for 76mm (3") immersion.

Thermometer joint is 10/18 for 76mm immersion thermometer. Side arm is at 75° angle.

Used as distilling head for connecting top of column with condenser. Top 10/30 standard taper joint for 76mm immersion thermometer.

Constructed so that satisfactory operation can be maintained under any pressure condition. 10/30 thermometer joint takes 76mm immersion thermometer listed under 8315. Side arm joint is 24/40.

Can be used as a distilling head to connect a condenser to the top of the distillation column. The 10/18 top joint accomadates a 76mm immersion thermometer.

Claisen distilling adapter featuring either a 10/30 joint for 76mm immersion thermometers or a 10/18 joint for 25mm immersion thermometers. All other joints, outer at top of vertical tube, inner at the bottom and sidearm inner drip tip, are uniform.
