The Ricca Chemical ehrlich aldehyde reagent with a composition of 68.02% ethyl alcohol, 18.91% water, 8.75% hydrochloric acid, 3.40% methyl alcohol and 0.92% p-dimethylaminobenzaldehyde, is used in identification of urobilinogen in urine. It can be stored at a temperature of 15 to 30 degree C.
