During cryostat sectioning, Cyto-Freeze flash freezes tissues instantly. It cools to -60°F (-50°C) in three seconds. To cut sections, simply mount tissue directly on a microtome holder, spray, and section. Saves time and eliminates water crystals caused by slower freezing methods. The supplied five-inch polyethylene “snorkel” pinpoints freezing power exactly where needed. A trigger-actuator valve provides controlled delivery.
Contains an EPA (Environmental Protection Agency) designated substitute for ozone-depleting HFCs and CFCs (chlorofluorocarbons). The pure formulation and unique valve provide superior chilling properties. Chills faster, uses less refrigerant, and maintains lower temperatures than products that use inexpensive filler material.
