ThinSeal™ can be used to seal tissue culture plates for short term storage, incubation, and containment of biohazards. An economical alternative to plate covers, adhesive sealing films provide a complete seal, whereas plate lids act only as covers.
The two end tabs allow for easier and more accurate positioning of the film on the plate. The end-tab backing can be removed and the film applied around and over both edges of the plate for a more secure seal. The end tabs are perforated to allow for easy removal in the event of interference with automated equipment. ThinSeal sealing film dimensions are 141 x 79.4 mm.
