The unique well geometry features a square cross sectional area at the well top that transitions into a truncated cone with a flat base of 1.52mm. The design allows smaller volumes to be aspirated, reduces dead volume, simplifies dilutions, and delivers the most homogenous seal possible for the base of the plate.
