Zone-Free™ films feature a 70 um adhesive -free polyethylene top layer with a 96-well patterned inert white PP/adhesive sublayer. This combination provides an 90% adhesive-free zone over each well while ensuring a secure seal around the rim and between wells while allowing for direct sample recovery with single or multi-channel pipettors or robotic probes.
The adhesive-free zone above each well prevents adhesive fouling of the pipet tip or probe to minimize the amount of adhesive that comes into contact with the sample. Transparent zones and two end tabs allow easy and accurate positioning of the film to the plate. The end tab backing can be removed and the film applied around and over both edges of the plate for a more secure seal. Dimensions are 142.9 x 79.4 mm (96-well plates only). Available in non-sterile.
