L-glutamine is a cell culture supplement, and is required in cell culture for cellular growth. L-glutamine participates in the formation of purine and pyrimidine nucleotides, amino sugars, gluthione, L-glutamate and other amino acids, as well as in protein synthesis and glucose production. L-glutamine is prepared from ACS grade L-glutamine using QBI’s physiological saline.
