UR 1, UR 2 and UR 3 ultrasonic baths clean test sieves, microprecision sieves, glass and metal components as well as metallurgical and geological samples. In particle size analysis, ultrasonic universal baths are used to prepare suspension samples for wet screening or sedimentation. Agglomerates are broken down and dispersed in the solution. Ultrasonic universal baths are used in chromatography to disperse packing material in the slurry and thus obtain reproducible fractions. They are also suitable for degassing solutions or emulsifying oil and aqueous phases.
A high frequency generator produces 35,000 oscillations per second, which are transferred into the cleaning solution, causing it to resonate. The energy density produces a cavitation effect. The resulting pulses triggered by the cavitation clean even the deepest recesses of the part or result in homogenization, dispersion and degassing.
These baths offer time setting from 1 to 15 minutes or continuous operation.
The UR 1 has a volume of 5.7 liters, the UR 2s volume is 42 liters and the UR 3 has a volume of 45 liters.
