Phoseon Technology has announced the first in a family of products with the KeyPro KP100 decontamination system. Targeted at RNA researchers and lab managers, the KP100 is a standalone decontamination system that saves time and money. The system's unique combination of UV LED technology and simple touchscreen interface seamlessly integrates into existing workflows. The KP100 is targed for use with compatible microplate and preparatory slides commonly found in laboratory environments and provides increased repeatability through the use of stored protocols for different equipment categories.
Potential biological contaminants are pervasive in the laboratory. Miniscule amounts of common enzymes such as RNase can make an experimental series inaccurate. Standard techniques for decontaminating laboratory equipment can take hours. KeyPro™ technology eliminates contamination without residue
or rinsing, saving up to 90% of the time and cost of chemical decontamination. Simply load compatible reagents and solvents and run your decontamination cycle just prior to adding sample.
- Complete inactivation of contaminants
- Speeds lab throughput
- Simple touch-screen interface
- Stable, consistent scientific outcomes
- Reduce lab consumables costs
- Seamless workflow integration
Phoseon’s patented Semiconductor Light Matrix (SLM™) technology encapsulates LED arrays, optics, and thermal cooling technology to maximize disinfection and/or decontamination performance.
