Non-binding (NBS) surface is a Corning proprietary treatment technology used on polystyrene microplates to create a non-ionic hydrophilic surface (polyethylene oxide-like) that minimizes molecular interactions.
Each well offers 6.16 mm2 flat growth area making it ideal for miniaturized 384 well fluorescent cell based assays. Total well volume is 50 µL with 5-40 µL the recommended working volume.
High base plate design is compatible with automated handling (gripping) and bar coding. Microplate is validated by molecular devices for the FLIPR reader. Outer wells are aligned for proper viewing with FLIPR.
384 well polystyrene microplates have plate dimensions of 127.76 L x 85.48 W x 12.19 H mm that meet microplate industry standards.
