Capp Expell PCR Tubes fit almost all PCR and qPCR (fast) cycler models. Made from virgin polypropylene these tubes are DNA, DNase, RNA, RNase, Pyrogen free, sterile and autoclavable. The V-shape bottom allows total sample recovery and the thin-walled wells permit a very good transmission of temperature and minimizes condensation. Expell Tubes have improved evaporation charactersitics and their smooth polished interior reduces binding of proteins. Capp PCR Tubes line comprises of a lean portfolio of 0.1ml and 0.2ml tubes with plug caps, strips of 8 tubes, strips of 8 caps, plates and optical adhesives.
Expell PCR strip tubes are available as 0.1 and 0.2mL tubes. These tubes are also available with caps or with attached caps as per your requirements. They are compatible with most of the thermocyclers available throughout the globe. These strip tubes are extremely transparent which makes them the optimum choice for applications of optical qPCR signal. Open PCR strip tube, strip of 8 flat caps are also available which can be used to cover both 0.1 and 0.2mL tubes.
Capp Expell 0.1 mL tubes are 15.6-16.6 mm high and fit in the majority of fast PCR and qPCR thermocyclers that need low profile tubes. In terms of evaporation, loss of PCR volume is less than 3%. These tubes are highly transparent, thus, making them ideal for applications where the optical qPCR signal is obtained through the bottom of the tube. Capp 0.1 mL tubes can be ordered as individual tubes with caps and as strips of 8 tubes with or without caps.
