Being highly nutritious it is employed in number of media for cultivation of highly fastidious microorganisms such as in
Brain Heart Infusion Agar HiVeg /Broth HiVeg (MV211/MV210), Brain Heart CC Agar, HiVeg (MV209), SABHI HiVeg
Agar Base(MV409), etc. to grow Staphylococci, Streptococci, Haemophilus and Neisseria species and pathogenic fungi.
Principle And Interpretation
HiVeg Special Infusion is dehydrated infusion obtained from vegetable proteins under controlled conditions. It is highly
nutritious and has growth supporting properties comparable with Brain Heart Infusion Powder (RM188).
