Buffered Peptone Water w/ Pyruvate is recommended for the isolation of Enterohemorrhagic E. coli (EHEC). Antibiotic supplement contains Acriflavin, Cefsulodin, and Vancomycin which effectively suppress the normal flora while allow the growth of Escherichia coli O157:H7.
