It has a screw-tight lid that provides a leak-resistant seal for safe shipping and handling. An effective "Lift 'n' Peel™" liner provides visible confirmation that the product has not been tampered prior to sample collection. The container's wide-mouth opening allows fast and easy sample transfer, prevents spillage, and the screw-tight lid tightens securely to provide leak-resistant security, making this sampling container ideal for collecting, adding, and safely shipping carcass rinse samples for testing. Microorganisms that may be present in a food product can be sub-lethally injured by food processing techniques and may not be recovered by direct selection techniques. Buffered Peptone Water Broth promotes the recovery of those microorganisms that may be injured.
