Palette refractometers are compact battery operated instruments that can display the measured values of samples quickly with one touch of the Start switch. The alpha (α ) designation shows that these units are upgraded versions of current models with improved measurement accuracy. Units are also programmed with a user-scale feature. This function allows users to input the coefficient into the formula: [Concentration = Brix x Coefficient] to display the concentrations according to each type of sample. The Palette series is also equipped with E.L.I. (External Light Interference) technology that enables users to take accurate measurements near windows or outdoors. All units offer a fast 3 second measurement time and also featue IP64 protection against dust and splashing water.
The PR-32α is designed to cover low concentrations of Brix (0.0 to 32.0%). It can measure Brix values of fruit juice, foods and beverages as well as chemicals and industrial liquids such as cutting oil, cleaning liquid and antifreeze.
The PR-101α has a measurement range of 0.0 to 45.0% Brix. It can also measure Brix values in fruit juice, food and beverages as well as chemicals and industrial liquids such as cutting oil, cleaning liquid and antifreeze.
The PR-201α is designed to cover low and intermediate concentrations of Brix ranging from 0.0 to 60.0%. It is suitable for measuring the Brix value of jams, concentrated juices, coolants, etc.
The PR-301α is designed to cover high concentrations of Brix ranging from 45.0 to 90.0%. It is most suited for the measurement of jelly, raw liquid sugar and similar products.
