Dry Contact Technology replaces traditional liquid or gel-filled ISE’s. Dry contact electrodes require no pre-conditioning. Simply place electrode in a sample and read results. This innovative technology offers unlimited shelf life and greater measurement stability.
Thomas also offers a half-cell version that requires a double junction reference electrode. A separate reference electrode can be used with more than one type half-cell ISE, saving some cost. Double junction reference electrodes allow the use of special outer chamber electrolyte formulas which can avoid or reduce interferences from other ions.
Electrodes measure 12 mm diameter x 145 mm length and are equipped with a one meter cable and BNC type connector.
