The PosiTector SHD measures the indentation hardness of non-metallic materials such as polymers, elastomers and rubbers. In the corrosion industry, durometers are commonly used to ensure proper curing of pipeline repair wraps. Two models are available for different hardness ranges - Shore A and Shore D. *User-adjustable measurement time with onscreen countdown to conform to national and international standards *Internal memory, statistics and USB port *Certificate of Calibration showing traceability to NIST included *Auto Ignore mode disregards readings below 20 or above 90 per international standards *HiLo alarm audibly and visually alerts when measurements exceed user-specified limits *Includes test block to verify operation *Compatible with PosiSoft suite of solutions, including the updated PosiTector App *Compatible with all PosiTector Advanced and PosiTector Standard gage bodies with a color display.
