Heating Mantles/Stirrers in Self-Standing Metal Case

  • Eliminates need for mantles with holes or very thin insulation that will accommodate separate stirring devices
  • The optional EMC-4 StirControl II (Thomas number 5912M10) creates and synchronizes a rotating magnetic field within the StirMantle that drives the stir bar inside a flask
  • Heating and stirring are independent; choose either or both
  • StirControl II and StirMantle attach with connecting cord (included)
  • Cord allows remote location of StirControl II out of corrosive hood environment
