Calibrated viscometers
- For measuring viscosity of highly viscous materials such as asphalt cement at 60°C (140°F)
- Meets ASTM D 2171
- Applicable to materials with viscosity range of 42 to 5,800,000 poises
- With graduated capillary to extend viscosity range of viscometer
Minimum sample size: 3 mL. Requires bath depth of 180 mm (7.1 inches). Calibrated with precision of ±1.0%. Provided with certificate of calibration and instruction sheet. Individually boxed. Size and serial numbers are printed on the outside of the box and on the viscometer. Holder not supplied, see Thomas number 9726N15.
NOTE: for sizes 400R and 800R, the "roofing" design is normally used for segment B, which extends the viscosity range to 1,400,000 and 5,800,000 poise, respectively.
