The Basic Lung Apparatus is a simple apparatus that visually represents how a diaphragm works. A partial vacuum exists inside the jar, causing the lung shaped balloons to relax and contract. This Lung Demonstration Model also includes a second pair of balloons that can easily be swapped out to show differences in inflation. The apparatus is housed in a plastic jar, to prevent breakage, and includes instructions.
