The Friction Rods are useful in a variety of electrostatic demonstrations.
- 603-1: Made of glass tubing and sealed on one end
- 603-2: Made for a solid glass rod and the edges of the glass are ground to a smooth finish
- 603-3: Made for a solid glass rod and the edges of the glass are ground to a smooth finish. Half of the glass rod has a smooth finish and the other half has been sand blasted to create a rough ground finish.
