Polyethyleneimine, 50 Percent (v/v) Aqueous Solution, or PEI, is soluble in hot water as well as in methanol, ethanol, chloroform and at low pH. It ability to modify the surface of cellulose fibres make it usable in many products such as adhesives, cosmetics, water treatment agents and detergents.
