Immunogen: Purified, His-tagged Staphylococcus aureus Gamma Hemolysin B (Hlg B) recombinant protein.
Description: Rabbit polyclonal antibody reactive to the Staphylococcus aureus Hlg B with His tag.
Supplied: 500 µg is supplied in PBS at a concentration of 3.74 mg/mL. Antibody contains 0.01% sodium azide.
Purification: Antibody is purified using immobilized protein A.
Clonality: Polyclonal
Relevance: The antibody can be used for detection of gamma-hemolysin secreted by S. aureus.
Recommended Dilutions:
ELISA: Assay-dependent dilution.
WB: This antibody can be utilized for detection at a concentration of 0.5 µg/mL.
Storage: 2-3 weeks +4°C, -20°C long term
Cross Reactivity: Due to the high level of homology among the bi-component cytolysins, this antibody demonstrates cross-reactivity to rHlg C, rLukF-PV and rLukS-PV . The immunogen contained a His-tag, therefore, proteins containing a His-epitope tag may also cross-react. This antibody is an IgG fraction of serum and therefore may have antibodies to other antigens including Staphylococcal antigens as a result of natural exposure and immune response.
