Immunogen: Recombinant LukS-PV (His tag)
Description: Mouse monoclonal antibody reactive to a conformational epitope of Staphylococcus aureus Panton Valentine Leukocidin LukS subunit.
Supplied: 100 µg is supplied in PBS at a concentration of 3.98 mg/mL.
Purification: Antibody is purified using immobilized protein A.
Clonality: Monoclonal of the IgG2b isotype.
Relevance: The antibody can be used for detection of LukS-PV in an ELISA sandwich assay. It is not recommended for denatured Western blot detection due to the recognition of a partially conformational epitope of the LukS.
Recommended Dilutions:
ELISA: Assay-dependent dilution. Internal QC demonstrates good capture of purified recombinant LukS-PV using this monoclonal antibody coated to a plate at 100 ng/well.
WB: It is not recommended to use this antibody for Western Blotting application due to weak detection of LukS-PV.
Storage: 2-3 weeks +4°C, -20°C long term.
Cross Reactivity: As with most antibodies, this antibody may interact with Protein A in S. aureus culture supernatant via the Fc region. Other cross reactive epitopes are not known at this time.
