Panitumumab with trade name Vectibix, is an FDA-approved drug for the treatment of patients with EGFR-expressing metastatic colorectal carcinoma with non-mutated (wild-type) KRAS after failure of fluoropyrimidine-, oxaliplatin- and irinotecan-containing chemotherapy regimens. It is a human monoclonal antibody. Panitumumab binds to the human EGF receptor (EGFR), preventing binding of activating ligands, such as the EGF and transforming growth factor-α.

- Concentration 0.5 mg/ml, lyophilized with PBS, pH 7.2, containing 0.02% sodium azide.
- Reconstitution Reconstitute the lyophilized antibody with deionized water (or equivalent) to a final concentration of 0.5 mg/ml.

- Storage The lyophilized product remains stable up to 1 year at -20 °C from date of receipt. Upon reconstitution, it can be stored for 2-3 weeks at 2-8 °C or for up to 12 months at -20 °C or below. Avoid repeated freezing and thawing cycles.
