Omalizumab with trade name Xolair, is an FDA-approved drug for the treatment of moderate to severe persistent asthma in adults and adolescents (12 years of age and above). It is a recombinant humanized monoclonal antibody. It selectively binds to human immunoglobulin E (IgE). Omalizumab inhibits the binding of IgE to the high-affinity IgE receptor (FcεRI) on the surface of mast cells and basophils.

Anti-Omalizumab Antibody (7G11), mAb, Mouse is produced from a hybridoma resulting from the fusion of partner and B-lymphocytes obtained from a mouse immunized with Omalizumab.

Working concentrations for specific applications should be determined by the investigators. The appropriate concentrations may be affected by secondary antibody affinity, antigen concentration, the sensitivity of the method of detection, temperature, the length of the incubations, and other factors. The suitability of this antibody for applications other than those listed below has not been determined. The following concentration ranges are recommended starting points for this product.

ELISA detection: 0.005-0.1 µg/ml

ELISA blocking: 10-50 µg/ml
