The antibody is in PBS buffer, pH 7.4, with 0.5 % BSA, and 0.09 % sodium azide.
This antibody identifies synaptophysin, a 38 kDa membrane glycoprotein. It may be a valuable aid in the examination of various neuropathological disorders, especially those associated with altered synapse patterns and defects of neurotransmitter sections. It may also possess potential for studying diseases such as Alzheimer's disease, alcoholic fetoembryopathy, and senile dementia.
Mouse anti-human synaptophysin Ig1 monoclonal antibody is in used FACS analysis, Immunofluorescence, Immunoblotting (Western), Immunohistochemistry. The product can be used on frozen and paraffin embedded tissue as well as cytological material.
