Baths are compact with an overflow trough and side drain. Removable PET plug with two ports in the bottom of the bath for easy cleaning and dust cap to keep the baths clean between uses. Large, snap-on water jacket fittings provide higher flow rates for better heating capacity.
Bottom plug ports exit in a female luer taper. One port is used for bubbling with a pressed fit sintered titanium aeration disk frit. Titanium frit has 0.2 µm pores that generate extremely small bubbles, smaller than most glass frits. Disk is also inert, biocompatible and can be replaced when clogged or contaminated. Second port is for the empty/fill stopcock.
Baths snap into small, efficient bath mounts that are clamped to the support frame. Each has a dust cap, used to seal it between uses. Three bath sizes, each including a dust cap, bottom plug, sintered titanium aeration frit, glass hook, hook mounting rod and clip and the 1112E11 bath accessory kit, which includes a 4-way stopcock, two large tubing luer fittings, a small tubing luer fitting for gas connection, roller clamp for gas control and two snap-on water jacket fittings.Parts and accessories can be ordered separately.
